Blue Atlas Care is an agency of the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Participants are funded by Medicaid and private sources.

Blue Atlas Care bridges the gap between in-home health care, independent living and foster care, while providing community-based services tailored to each individual’s goals and interests. We focus on the desires and needs of participants; empowering them to constructively paint their life portrait and live it. Our agency takes meaningful action to clearly define life goals, purposes, and dreams through strategic assessments and planning sessions that involve the participant and their circle of support. Through our personal approach, confidence and independence are achieved by the participant.

Our professional staff and ownership hold advanced degrees in sociology and complementary fields and have years of experience working to enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We pride ourselves on creating safe spaces where each individual is free to be their authentic self. We are committed to supporting each individual’s goals and cultivating their interests. Blue Atlas Care serves central KY, including Bowling Green, Somerset and Hopkinsville (as well as surrounding counties).
